Multiple attacks on Peterborough train

Hopefully no City fans were on the train out of Peterborough this evening that had horrific ( multiple knife attacks). Fingers crossed for everyone caught up in it.

I wonder if the authorities will describe who did it?

Ned, they are not permitted to name the suspects until they are charged. Under investigation, they are still assumed innocent until proven otherwise

Shouldn’t be long now, though. The witnesses are apparently giving some damning accounts of what occurred. I just hope those innocent people attacked make it through their ordeals

Seems so; and now is certainly not the time to be making assumption at any level. There will be enough sh#t going around, once the perpetrators are identified by name, age, sex, colour, creed and/or religion

No matter what comes out, this is another sad event, and my thoughts are with the victims right now!

One of the attackers was a 32 year old Black British national while the other was a Caribbean descent British national.

Both were born in Britain.

Two arrested within eight minutes of 999 call.

32 year old male, black British national and 35 year old male British national "of Caribbean descent".

Both born in the UK.

4 of those attacked discharged, 2 remain in life threatening condition.

"At this stage there is nothing to suggest this is a terrorist incident."

Two men don't get on a train and start stabbing everyone for no reason,if it was only one person stabbed you might think it was
an argument or drug related etc ,but to go and stab multiple people

Judging by his response to the police at station he shouted kill me kill me to them so I suspect he as issues .. lucky cops had tazors or would have shot him seeing as he waved big knife at them.

The other charges he faces are two counts of a possession of a bladed article and one count of causing actual bodily harm.

Following his court appearance, he has been remanded in custody.
