Will Fish

I think he's possibly our most underrated player.

Was delighted for him when he got his first goal on Tuesday, could see by his face how much it meant to him.

He's probably the best central defender we have. I know Lawlor is a huge talent but he's still learning. Chambers has done well lately and Osho has ability, despite his poor start.

But right now I'd say Fish is the CB that is playing the best and when he's been dropped, it's been harsh on him.

Fish certainly has been our most consistent and seems to do ok with whoever the other central defender he is paired with, solid player and really enjoying his performances atm

I totally agree. I couldn't understand last season why he didn't get as much game time as I thought he deserved. He'll be a big asset to us this season.

Also agree about Lawler but he's got some very experienced CB's around him to learn from and will be a top CB playing in the premier in a few years.............dare I say, maybe with us...,.

I'm a massive fan of Pysgod. I didn't realise how good his diag was until the last few appearances.

A bit of a throwback in todays softer game.

Always said he was unsung hero ,a steady eddie and have praised him from day 1, like a young Shaun morrison

And Riza never really used him or Lawlor last season. It still makes so cross at that mans ineptitude. Fish has all the makings of becoming a city folklore hero. An old school centre half who can play a bit too.

Massively underrated! Watch him closely he deals with everything. Very good professional. He is young as well, more to come.

Chambers looks nervous, panics and gets in a right mess whenever he has to deal with a physical player

Good to see him get his 1st goal for the City :bluebird:

He still makes mistakes and after scoring, nearly gave away a few goals by giving possession away, rash decision making and switching off to lose his man. He nearly scored a calamitous own goal at the end too. He needs to improve to cut out his sloppy mistakes, then he will be a decent centre back at this level.

I still think we need a commanding leader alongside Lawlor. Chambers is better as a holding midfielder and he should be competing with Wintle. Osho can't be trusted and should be a backup with Fish, with a new centre back getting signed in January.

Think that's a little harsh.

Fish has been good lately and so has Chambers.

Osho has had a tough start but has ability. Did play well at Wigan.
