Just leaves a bit of a sour taste tbh .its about a £40 difference. Its not the money but the principle tbh.

Your right wez sometimes institutions are unweilding but maybe its the ticket system they use doesn't allow for what you want? It does happen in ither places! But why not write/email to the manager explaining situation and if they can't help you this season tell them they should make it possible to do in subsequent seasons.... just a thought

I spoke to them over the phone and basically was fobbed off.

Wez that is typical of someone who doesn't use initiative but just reads the rules... seems like you need to speak in person you
At least then can put point view over to a supervisor/manager? Maybe they can't do it for technical reasons (the ticketing system) but at least if speak in person you'll get a better response.... Maybe that will make them change system in future...
Shouldn't need to put yourself out like this but sometimes it's only way.
