Half season tickets price for kids not reward exsting fans

Wed Oct 29, 2025 10:28 am

So i went to buy my boy a half season ticket today , hes only 10 hes caught the bug this year .

been taking him home and away a couple of times this season.

i tried buying him one for the lower rate which full paying adult get , I've been a season ticket holder for 30 years now with a 4 year break when I was banned.

I was told I had to buy a half season ticket at full price as well to get his one at the other rate , its not really that clear on the site but my point is that new band wagon jumpers are getting better deals than long existing holders who are trying to get there family's more involved .

Just leaves a bit of a sour taste tbh .its about a £40 difference. It’s not the money but the principle tbh.

Your right wez sometimes institutions are unweilding but maybe its the ticket system they use doesn't allow for what you want? It does happen in ither places! But why not write/email to the manager explaining situation and if they can't help you this season tell them they should make it possible to do in subsequent seasons.... just a thought

I agree , the pricing configuration is set up in a certain way, I’m sure if you had a chat in person they will be happy to help, failing that , Speak to the manager of the ticket office.

Try and speak to Mona Sabbuta, she’s the manager of all the ticketing and a really nice and helpful woman.

I have her personal number but I obviously can’t give it out.

Try the number 03333111920 and ask for her.

I spoke to them over the phone and basically was fobbed off.

Wez that is typical of someone who doesn't use initiative but just reads the rules... seems like you need to speak in person you
At least then can put point view over to a supervisor/manager? Maybe they can't do it for technical reasons (the ticketing system) but at least if speak in person you'll get a better response.... Maybe that will make them change system in future...
Shouldn't need to put yourself out like this but sometimes it's only way.

Asked them to speak to a manager but was told there's nothing they could do as its on the computer. I have emailed now so will wait for a reply .
