TONIGHT CARDIFF SHOWED THE QUALITY THEY REALLY HAVE AND OUT PLAYED CHAMPIONSHIP WREXHAM TO REACH THE QUARTER-FINAL OF THE LEAGUE CUP.


What a Different Side Cardiff looked tonight compared to the last 6 weeks, played like they did at the beginning of the season, played superb and passed with quality and attacked time after time, looked confident again.


Absolutely loved watching tonight’s game as we looked the club from the higher division.

BBM got it spot on tonight.

Great win im buzzing, they all put a shift in made Wrexham look shit bar a long ball when Moore come on that's all they could do. Should of been out of sight by half time really but we are through

outplayed and outsung one team in Wales!

Brilliant display and thoroughly deserved the win. For large parts, Wrexham just couldnt cope with us, with and without the ball.

Just superb. All the players proper up for it too!

Think that puts BBM right out there in the shop front window coz that style of play, when it works, it don't half look good!!!

They give Colwill too much space first half, I think second half they got tighter to him and doubled up to stop the control we had, as well as bringing on Moore who we know too well. We struggled to contain him and gave Wrexham an out ball.

One that not many have mentioned is Ashford, I was sure he was spent and couldn’t believe he was still on as he looked shattered, but when we were caught on the break he shifted some yards to get back and break the play up. He came off shortly after, but looks to have a good attitude which we have missed the last few years.

Our quality showed and we were dominant in the game.
Surprised how poor Wrexham were especially in the 1st half where we should of been 3 goals up.
Every player put a shift in tonight and it shows that if you try hard enough in matches you can get the win.
Wrexham did not try nowhere near enough in the 1st half and that is why we won.

Outstanding all round. Great to see us getting more balls in the box.

Kellyman is a player and will get better, hopefully pulled as part of BBMs plan.

Colwill was outstanding and i was calling for him to have a spell on the bench.

They were all great.

Oh and Ashford played on the left and he looks so much better there than on the right

We were fantastic tonight and if we can replicate our last two league cup performances consistently in the league we will be hard to stop

Brilliant performance gave Wrexham a lesson in football tonight ONE TEAM IN WALES BLUBIRDS!!!

What a good win. Alot of players back to their best. The cup feels like they remove any shackles; BBM's challenge is to get that free-flow into the league.

Alot of great performances, but Bagan's ball onto Fish's toe-nail was sublime. That's 2 world class crosses in 2 games - this is a weapon that we need to start taking advantage of!


Time to start enjoying this season, knowing there will be bumps in the road??

Best performance under bbm never stopped chasing and wanting the ball.
29 shots 9 on target. The most pleasing thing for me was they brought on the big guns conceded straight away and showed some character to go win the game .
Thats is what cardiff city is all about long may a performance like that continue.
Just to add first half we absolutely smashed them
