We need to get a grip. Great start, but we are in poor form, eleventh from the last six games losing three winning three.

Thirteenth from the last four.

Yeah we do need to get back to our start. And I think a consistent team is the major factor.
My 1 point in relation to the stats is if u look at Bradford Stevenage etc they have all slipped to mid tableb in form

That's a good point

Robertson should make a difference when he is up to speed, and I think Kellyman will get a chance to show us what he can do as a ten soon.

Mark,

We’ve lost 4 in our last 9 games, for me this is not good at all and unacceptable as even BBM says he has the Squad he wants and the quality.

On paper we should be hammering some of these small clubs

Constantly changing the team does not bode well for concistancy injuries fair enough, but Ng over kapakio the last 2 games when kapakio and kellyman were just getting a right sided relationship going overlapping etc,
then it gets all changed up ,
then the midfield its wintle on the bench tunbull then its joe a lot of chopping and changing just when you get used to the player next to you.

Posted same recently all partnerships are based on playing week in week out together not every other week at best.... same problem exists for trott may not know what changes mean to his passing out from back as all players do different things in different situations at times he's looked unsure where to put ball something that wasn't apparent earlier in season.

If you look back to when our defence was at its best at the beginning of the season, we mostly started with Kpakio, Fish, Lawlor, Bagan. This needs to be the back four whenever possible.

I don't mind mixing it up in midfield and up top, but the back line needs to stay the same, unless we have injuries or fatigue (which should not happen this early into the season.)

Love BBM and how he's changed the club for the better, but mixing up the back line needs to stop, unless it's for the above reasons.

The levels have dropped slightly, for sure. But I don't think it's been a significant drop off.

A lot is being made of a defeat to a Bolton team who are very good at home. A lot of teams will lose there.

It was a bad performance, I'll agree, but I do think people are going a little too far about it.

Especially people who said we wouldn't even compete this season.

Turnbull has started five games and we have lost three of them. I don't think that is the single issue. I do believe the blueprint is out there on how to stop us and its not that difficult. Yesterday Parkinson said:

""I've had a good look at Cardiff, they're a good team, anyone that's at the top of their respective league has got talent in the team.
"They give up chances, but they can score. They're quite an open team, on the transition in particular, so I think it's going to be an entertaining game.

We as fans underestimate how many analysts look at games and players. We can't break a low block; we don't have the line breakers or movement. So keep it tight and we'll turn over the ball and you'll capitalize, its a simple game plan. If you go banzai crazy and slug in out with us in an attack fest, we'll beat you.

Growing up in the 80's onwards, I struggled with how open we are. There is a gaping hole in the middle of the park as the philosophy of my last 50 years is to compact that space and let you have the flanks. We are almost doubling the flanks for little return.

Arteta has tweaked his Pep strategy in trying to dominate the ball, but they are compact and have wingers with intent to hurt, not hold onto the ball and pass back like Pep and BBM do with city.

It will be interesting to see how BBM does when we start a losing sequence, brave it out or adapt.
