Sarcastic don' t hold back al, you missed out don' t shoot, walk it into the net, and if you can' t get a shot off play it back to the keeper and start all over again

But isn't it true montyy subs on 60mins 4 & 5 changes a game .....
Apparently it's OK we had plenty of possession in the penalty area Saturday far more important than getting shots on target
Or simply on goal? People may have a pop at me and others but need to be blind to see the patern of our play and as been seen by opponents and we've been sussed out....
Anyway back too tomorrow ? There isn't a need to play weakened side for reason I stated .... but will bbm change is methology not sure he will so expect the same patern as most season.

Yeah, the same pattern that has got us to this stage in the cup and in the top two in the league

Yes very true ned ... and I've said well get double promotion despite my criticism and others .... but still doesn't mean cannot criticise bbm and his tactics or do we simply accept what we see and be happy because near top league....

I honestly am happy with the way things are going so I'm not critical at all. I always expected this season to have ups and downs because it's a young team but I expect us to be up there at the end of the season.
I also expected us to lose on Saturday because Bolton are good at home so not as upset as others seem to be, however frustrating the performance was.
Don't see an issue with the timing of subs personally.
If it was up to me I'd play the kids tomorrow but doesn't seem like he will.

Ned we all have our views about way bbm sets team up... some more positive than others? Saturday was disappointing more than anything else as your right Bolton good at home and draw would been excellent result but wasn't to be. But one can question why no shots on target especially as bbm as criticised players couple times about our attacking problems? so what is the problem the players or bbms tactics? Or simply teams subduing or attacking strengths..

Saturday was poor but stats show we do have a lot of shots and a lot of shots on target.
Maybe a game like that is just what we need to wake the players up a bit. Some will blame the tactics, I don't. We can debate it until the cows come home but lets just hope we can bounce back next time we have a league game.

We've had the fifth most shots of all teams in League One this season. The third most shots per game.
Also the fifth most shots on target. Fourth most shots on target per game.
The third most big chances created.
The problem is not the amount of shots, it's that we're not taking the chances - second most big chances missed.

The problem with that stat is it's from the whole season. Based on the last six games I doubt that would hold out, teams are not playing eleven in defence anymore they are having a go at us.

It's an average over the season. So if it had significantly dropped then it would have come tumbling down, but it hasn't.

Sorry ned I tend to use just last game or previous one when looking at stats so your right about being near top for stats... but unfortunately while they're useful they don't hide the problems like Saturday lots of play inside their final 3rd/pen area but we never looked like scoring compared to their attacks ... and that's been similar in other games yes table doesn't lie but it can mask weaknesses that could jeopardise our league position in long run.... but as long as league situation persists hard for people to argue against your view even if dont entirely agree with it.
