Thoughts on his return today?

Tidy enough but still not enough going forward. I’d like to see Joel Colwill start and give Robertson the chance to support Rubin. I’d even think about playing Robinson instead of Rubin for a bit.

I suggested Robinson for colwill in the team for bolton ,Kellyman salec and Robinson front 3

Not a bad shout mate. Worth a try as Colwill has been awful recently.

Much better than Wintle and turnbull in the 6 can take the ball under pressure turn and beat a man

Considering he hasn't played all season I thought he was one of our better players today

Re: " Alex Robertson "

He played as a 6 in a deeper role today, but as his fitness improves, I’d like to see him as an 8 or even as a 10 if Ruban performs like he did today.

For me, he looked a cut above the rest of the midfielders, though that’s not saying much. Still, it was a solid return and definitely something to be positive about.

He must’ve been training in sandals with a cigar in hand to somehow be behind Turnbull in the pecking order! :banghead:

I would actually like to see Kellyman given a go in the 10, he looks like he has that ability to drop a shoulder and get a shot off and 10 is his preferred position with Robertson and Joel Colwill behind him

Agree with the comments.

Played well, especially considering he hasn't played yet this season before today.

Can't see an argument for him not to be a first team starter on a regular basis now.

I agree with that point about Robinson, particularly in away games.

Colwill really put the effort in but some of his passing today was woeful and put us in all sorts of trouble.

I do rate him but maybe time for a change.

I’d play Chambers No 6 , J Colwill No8 and Robertson No10, I think it’s time to take Rubin out of starting line up for a while

Could be a shout this especially with rubin out of form at mo. Maybe rest will do him good too *kellyman 10 Robertson and Joel I mean

I agree, a couple of good turns, defensive blocks but no killer pass to get us a goal. We definitely should have had at least a point yesterday as Bolton were not at it. A draw and I think people would be less negative.

BBM has recently said that he sees Kellyman as a 10 and Kellyman prefers to play as a 10. He has to start there next game

I thought Robertson did ok today, the task he seems to have been given he did well. He is better on the ball than Wintle and equal off the ball.

Colwill getting a lot of stick and his passing was awful yesterday, but what did stick out for me which he hasn’t done in previous seasons is he kept running, kept closing down and never stopped. Savage made a career from running, so when Colwill is having a bad game he’s still busting a gut which is nice to see

This is a good shout, Kellyman is not a winger. I would probably prefer Wintle in the 6 position though.

A decent return but will get much better quickly!

A little surprised he got some Man of the Match votes, but expect him to be a regular contender from here on in! :ayatollah:

For him to start and play as well as he did, after all that time out, shows how good he really is and how much BBM believes in him.

He is going to be a massive player for us, I hope we can keep him in January.

Really need him to knuckle down and show that he can be a top player in this division and beyond.

Really hope he can do it with us.

He was one of the better players in a bad performance on Saturday.

Came on today and wasn't rattled by Wrexham getting physical, made some crucial challenges and was happy to cover for Kpakio when he went forward.

I would start him again at Blackpool.

He's got a bit of fight in him too which I like in a midfielder and which we need a bit of.
