BRIAN BARRY -MURPHY: “CREATING CHANCES WE WERE POOR“

Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:46 pm

BBM:

Cardiff City head coach Brian Barry-Murphy:

"It's a very disappointing goal from our point of view, with it coming so late and you can't do anything about it.
"When something like that happens it's obviously very disappointing for us all.”

"Parts of our game were OK. We got towards the final third pretty easily but our final product in terms of creating and getting shooting opportunities was very poor.”

"When you don't have enough attacking momentum, you're always in danger of conceding a goal like we did, and today that was the case."

Yes got into final 3rd then the final ball even if was an easy pass was crap same for crosses! But what about ghe pedestrian football that you encourage at yhe back it takes 4 or 5 passes to get ball couple yards forward or why not tell trott and others not to stand still with ball making a cuppa before making another 4 or 5 passes? He said wanted to attack more but in reality nothing changed still more interested in game management than scoring.

You're right, nothing has changed - we are still top of the league.

One thing has changed actually, this is was only our first away defeat of the season.

Just
How we haven’t lost away before has been down to pure luck
BBM Is a great coach but not a manager

Disagree. We have played poorly in some games but the table doesn't lie.
