" A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:24 pm

That was frustrating match to watch.

Neither team really turned up. Bolton were better though.

We didn't move the ball quick enough which meant that Bolton could block the attacking passes.

Bolton got their late winner and we can't really complain because we didn't do enough and never looked like scoring.

My MOTM was Bagan.

I’m sorry but that’s sickening performance.

What a bunch of wankers

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:25 pm

The standard of our passing wasn't even national league level, and for some reason we are terrified to have a go at teams unless we are losing

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:25 pm

Inexperience from a lot of these younger players has shown today.

Bad balls, bad decisions, very juvenile.

Tan, you needed some experience in this team, but went cost effective again…

Not good enough, no cutting edge going forward very dissapointing

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:26 pm

Seriously why don't we put the ball in the box? Salech must hate playing in this team. Game thrown away by constantly giving the ball away.

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:26 pm

Constant changes 5 per game has been playing its part we look disjointed at times no consistency because of whole sale changes just like riza he said exciting attacking football sorry it is not for ages now

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:26 pm

No more than we deserved. Doghshit all game and nothing changed bar like for like from tinkerman. We have been lucky the last few games to get somebting from games but this one we didn't deserve f@ck all. Total shit and clueless in the final 3rd you don't win games with tippy tappy shit and zero shots that's the bottom line but BBM changed nothing just like for like. Salech will probably hand in a transfer request to a team who crosses the ball in :banghead:

Probably the most disappointed I have felt watching us this season. All this tapping it around the box is starting to get frustrating. Just stick it in there. I’d rather see a chance then knocking it around and then going back to half way.

BBM needs to work on how we transition in attack, it simply needs to be quicker and more direct.

Disappointed today.

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:27 pm

Nyakuhwa absolutely pathetic when he came on the field. The only thing he contributed was the pass for Bolton’s goal.

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:28 pm

Boring shite

Kellyman and our 29 proper powderpuff wing players with an allergy to crossing the ball

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:29 pm

like watching paint dry, only by amateurs, we have some right shite in the squad, stop defending them every week

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:31 pm

Our total and utter refusal to fecking shoot or even get a cross in is just shocking.
I wish I had a pound for every back pass made by both Fish and Lawlor. I can only assume BBM has told them to play negative rather than forwards.
We rightly got our just deserves today. Not 1 single shot on target in the entire fecking game!
Once again playing Turnball and Rubin who offer absolutely zero.We could have played for hours and still not had a shot.
When will the Tinkerman ever learn.

It’s just one game. We top of the league , we were never gonna walk this league unbeaten.
But we are top that’s what matters.

BBM thinks we got many city quality I'm sure it's awful watching irrelevant of league position and let's be honest we could of been 12 points less with the four games we have won Vs teams who we basically robbed for the win but that's football. It's been coming for ages in truth that has. Bar trott we would be a mid table team and thats how we are playing the last half a dozen games. The manager instucks how we play that's the bottom line but on to the next game. Luck run out today end of :bluescarf:

Would have been happy with a point once we got to added time but a poor pass gifted them the ball & a great shot in the last seconds sealed our fate. We could do with getting the ball into the box but we seem to run out of ideas in the final third & Salech was getting pulled up for a foul if he even looked at their defenders the wrong way.

On to Wrexham Tuesday night.

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Lots of negatives today but let’s not forget the positives this year.

Negatives:

Playing far too slowly lately. Just passing around the back over and over again and back to Trott.

Seemingly no plan B if plan A isn’t working

According to the stats we concede a lot of chances, among the highest in the division.

Positives:

we are at the top end of the league with a young team (Luton and Plymouth came down with us and a far below us)

We have a huge amount of academy players playing regularly and doing well.

We are among the top scorers in the division

For the first time in a number of years we seem to be heading in the right direction.

Overall a lot more to be pleased about in my opinion. We are a club with a lot of young players from the academy at the top end of the division and scoring goals. However frustrating today was (and I was screaming at the tv every time we passed it aimlessly around the back) I reckon we are going in the right direction. Today was poor but back when we were relegated I thought we’d be more likely to go down again than challenge for promotion. Onwards to Wrexham

Great day for eh mate. Nothing better than losing so can have your weekly moan, with a tad of justification never mind the fact we top of the league. Shall we sack the manger get someone new in or should we back him?

Only you suggested sacking him.

What exactly is your problem?

Nyakuhwa was great when he came on, shame his sloppy pass led to the goal. So many sloppy passes today, Colwill was poor.

Both teams didn’t do enough to trouble the goalkeeper, after about 30 minutes we didn’t look threatening at all.

Final 3rd needs to be worked on

Only one person has suggested sacking BBM & that was you.

4 shots , none on target. Thats a terrible stat for a team top of the league. We have been lucky on numerous occasions this season but today our luck has finally run out

You’re making things up when have I ever said sack him? Like I said last week show me where I’ve been negative to Murphy. But you could and then slithered away not to be heard from until today. When you come out and rejoice in a city defeat.

We got an experienced centre back that cost. The fans have ruined him.

A very frustrating watch. Just come out now. Not a lot between the teams, hardly any shots from City and often guilty of taking the wrong option. Only after Salech went off did they try to cross the ball!
Murphy made a lot of subs BUT how on earth did Turnbull play 90 mins. He was absolutely dreadful. He should havee been first off, closely followed by Reuben Colwill!!
They both had mares!

Re: " A frustrating watch "

Sat Oct 25, 2025 1:49 pm

Very sloppy in possession, no chances created and poor substitutions leads to a deserved loss today.

Colwill should’ve come on for Robertson if he wasn’t able to continue. R. Colwill was very poor today, I’d have brought Robinson on for him and kept Salech on. Wintle should’ve been a straight swap for Turnbull as we've seen in Bradford, Newport they are a terrible together and give our midfield 0 legs. Yes, it was a horrible pass from Nyakuhwa and a good finish, but as with most of the game, Turnbull was miles off his man. I genuinely don’t understand why BBM keeps playing him.

I actually liked how we started there was some energy early on but BBM’s substitutions were extremely poor today. Keeping Robinson on the bench until the 83rd minute when we hadn’t registered a shot on target is another example.

The only slight positive was seeing Robertson back, and to be fair, the defence looked reasonably solid.

Considering how many saves Trott has been making recently, he didn’t have much to do today apart from picking the ball out of his net.

The biggest concern for me the complete lack of service to Salech, which has been a recurring pattern. Apart from Turnbull’s poor header, we never really looked like scoring.
