Just when the fans thought can't get worse?
They've tried boycott of stadium team as lost every game thats happened... they've boycotted merchandise and food outlets as this caused the administration due to lack of income ( owner not withstanding) his revenge for the actions of fans? No fan or club should have to put up with such a uncaring despicable owner... where is EFL in all this? Punishing the fans instead of owner..

This is a massive positive for the fans as mad as that sounds.
They might finally get rid of their owner who was actively blocking bids below his crazily inflated asking price.

Agree with that.
They were expected to get relegated anyway so the points deduction will just bring that forward.

Breaking: Sheff Wed given 12-point deductionSky SportsSheffield Wednesday have been handed an automatic 12-point deduction after filing for administration, the EFL has confirmed.
A statement on Friday lunchtime read: "
The EFL can confirm that it has now received formal notice that Dejphon Chansiri, the director of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club, has taken the necessary steps to appoint administrators to both the club and also the company which owns Hillsborough.
"Whilst this development results in the automatic deduction of 12 points in accordance with regulations agreed by all clubs, it also presents Sheffield Wednesday with the opportunity to move matters towards a successful sale and secure future under new ownership.
"The EFL will now engage in discussions with the administrators in respect of the immediate actions required to enable them to achieve an early resolution, and end the ongoing uncertainty faced by Sheffield Wednesday staff, management, players, supporters and all those associated with the club and their local community.
"The Championship league table will be updated with immediate effect. "

Best option for them
Get rid of the owner
Ownership of their own stadium
Etc.
If they never got into Administration then the club would be liquidated as they were.

Having read the administrator let's hope whoever buys club actually buys the whole lot not bits as the stadium is owned as a separate entity by one of the owners companies? Clubs not owning gbrir in ground is the curse of football and should never be allowed to happen this is where perhaps the new regulator can stop it happening.
