BBM:

“Omari Kellyman”

“I’m very pleased with the amount of progress he’s making. We’re wary of how much we want to push him and expose him to playing long periods in games.

"He hasn’t gone past the 60-minute mark for us yet. While we’re pushing him and we want to be competitive, at this stage of the season, I think you’ll see the benefits of what he can do later on in the campaign once he gets that consistency and confidence going from game to game.

“We see him very much as a central player who has an incredible ability to arrive in the box and score goals.

"He’s a brilliant finisher, but at the moment, opportunities have arose in wide areas. Ollie Tanner is injured and Omari’s level of performance in training has been so good that he has played in that wide position.

"His combination with Ronan [Kpakio] who can attack on the outside of Omari has been a good solution. The best of him is yet to come."

Definitely starting to see him play a good role in the team. His movement for his goal on Saturday was very good.

Agree with the comment that he works well with Kpakio on that side.

Also brings versatility because as mentioned there, he can play in central areas or on the right.

Definitely been the right decision to gradually build up his fitness and I'm sure that will benefit us as the season goes on.

Agree, Ned; there’s a great player in there, and we have yet to see the ‘best’ of him in a Bluebird shirt!

Lucky us! :ayatollah:
