Top of the table we maybe but FIFTY TWO shots by the opposition in our last two home leagues games is quite staggering. Can't knock the spirit of the team in getting maximum points in these games from losing positions but this cannot be sustainable for the duration of the season.

The last three home games have been so open, Bradford punished us, to lesser teams couldn't. Can't fault the squad generally, they are inexperienced but have shown a lot of tenacity getting points and wins when their backs are against the wall. There are a handful of older players who have been poor so far and the youngsters have all had a bad performance or two which is fully expected. It bodes superbly that we are top yet have had quite a few performances where you could say we were lucky.

Definitely riding our luck this season and without Trott we would almost certainly be much lower in the league.

It's great that we're top of the league but I hope the analysts and BBM come up with a plan to make us more robust defensively, as we cannot depend on the profligacy of the opposition's strikers and Trott for the remainder of the season.

I think some are forgetting this is League One, not the Championship.

The opposition will miss more chances in this league.

Our performances so far would have us struggling in the Championship, I agree.

But we are currently on course for an immediate return to the Championship while improving our academy players - both are the entire point of this season and this managerial appointment.

I think what's most concerning is the ease at which the opposition are fashioning chances, regardless of them not being taken. In my view, we need to start dominating teams in midfield to stop this from happening. I wouldn't be surprised to see BBM bolstering midfield in the January window, providing he receives financial backing from Tan.

The goal this season is to blood the youngsters and gain promotion, this league is poor let's be honest but it's the perfect environment for the young lads to gain some experience as they won't get punished as often for little mistakes as they would in the championship

I'm sure if we do go up this season we will bring in a higher quality of experience to guide the youngsters at the next level

That is fair about the chances conceded. Something we need to address.

I do think two quality additions in January with the same ability of Trott and Kellyman would get us over the line - preferably in midfield.

10 more points than Luton already is crazy.

No one would have expected that after 12 games.

Don't think anyone would have expected Luton and to a lesser extent Plymouth doing so badly.
I think its going to be a but of a scrap at the top. No team appears to be pulling away

Stevenage play Bradford Saturday. Hoping for a draw in that game and a win for us to cement our place at the top.

That would be the ideal set of results although if we win and one of those do it could cut away the top two a little. I say ‘could’. :bluescarf:

I think we've been fortunate, we won't get promoted unless there's an improvement. I've been surprised how poor this division is

Agree this division is poor - Long way to go and we need to put a good set of results together :bluebird:
