Best keeper we have had in a long time.
We would be far lower down the league without him.
Hope we never start Osho and Chambers in front of him again, he deserves better.

He has been amazing all season. Absolutely phenomenal performance today. Without him we would have lost. Thought Will Fish was also excellent.

Great shot stopper but don't come out for long balls he can get and crosses on his six yard box from corners he don't move off the line. We would of been hammered if it wasnt for him today in truth but it's not the first time is it we've seen it before. As for osho I expect most center halfs can head a ball but that's about all he can do he's garbage so far. Makes me a bag of nerves but his tippy tappy crap we do at the back don't help thinking we are man city when we are under pressure.

Best keeper we've had in a long time, but all successful teams have a top keeper, Alex Ferguson once said a great keeper is worth 15-20 points a season lucky for us we have one

Hopefully we go up and sign him on a perm. He will definitely be attracting interest from other teams.
Not a bad back up in Turner either.
Disappointed with Osho, I thought he was a lot better than what he’s shown.
Fish and Lawlor have to start when fit.

Come the end of the season, we could look at him as our most important player.
He will make mistakes with his feet. That's an occupational hazard with the way he plays.
But his saving skills are invaluable. He is better than League One.
We've got the buy option if we go up and that would be the best signing we could make to prepare for the Championship if we get there.

Trott was brilliant today he was the Difference today earned us the 3pts

I hope we have first option to buy. It's gonna test Vinny's resolve if Copenhagen slap a £5mio price tag on him, especially if he doesn't score soon.

It's not often where you see a keeper leave a howler in and he's still clearly man of the match

I've not seen it back but it felt from Canton that it took a deflection and wrong footed him?

I wish we had a 'Like' button, because this is one I would like. 100% agree.

Yeah he’s always going to make the odd mistake because of the way we play.
The shot stopping makes up for any errors, levels above today.

Id be very surprised, and extremely delighted if he is at Cardiff next season.

He's shit
My granny could have saved their goal.
We need a decent keeper like Dimi, or Ross Turnbull or Tony Warner not this bloke.
ps this is not a serious post.

I believe it was a loan to buy deal should we get promoted with the price already agreed upon, I believe it was in the 1.8 mill bracket although I could be wrong

If we go up, it’s a given.

No deflection but player in front of him so hes unsighted but more importantly the ball actually swerved as it passed city defender leaving trott wrong footed freak goal and certainly not his fault...(view from behind ball on tv)

Thanks Allan.
As I saw it go in, I noticed he was clearly wrong footed so just assumed a deflection.
But as has been said by others, what a brilliant signing and hope we keep him if/when we go up.

Ned if there's one sighning that needs to be made its him at any cost even if its 10m well worth it.
I know it's rumoured to be 2m deal if promoted but 10m is a bargain premier league clubs be looking in the future that's for sure

I think Wing should get more credit for the shot. It had a mad amount of swerve for a ball that skimmed the pitch.
Even though there were two City players in his view, Trott went the right way. The ball just swerved around the City players and wen the opposite way.

It was a tremendous strike. He didn't have a clear line. He had a small gap that he had to swerve it between 2 defenders. Sometimes you have to stand up and applaud a piece of skill like that. No deflection. It was struck sweet as a nut. If any of ours had hit that we would still be gushing about the quality

The amount of swerve he put on that ball was so much that I would have sworn that it took a deflection but it didn't & it was just a great strike.

Yeah, as I said earlier it looked from where I was in Canton that it took a deflection.
Have seen it back and you have to credit Wing, some great swerve on it. I'll give myself a tiny bit of credit for mentioning in the match thread that he has a record of scoring great goals
