" A tale of two halves "

Let's get it right, we were dreadful first half and would have been 3-0 down if it wasn't for Chambers.

Thankfully we came out in the second half fighting and got the win.

By no means a perfect performance.

Trott also brilliant.

But my MOTM is Chambers.

And we are top of the league as it stands as I type :bluebird:

I thought we were awful first half but have to give bbm his dues he changed it up and we came back to win for the second home league game in a row

For me fish has to start we look a lot better with him in the back 4

We have been blessed with many Excellent keepers at CCS
Nathan Trott is one of them
Won the game for us and again MOTM.
Credit the comeback but kamikaze football at times, when its absolutely not necessary

I know we sometimes play suicidal football, proper heart in your mouth stuff and a few people saying bbm is exactly like riza but be honest when we went behind last season did you honestly expect us to turn it around because I didn't but this season even when we fall behind I always feel we will turn it around

Thanks to Trott we got the 3 points.

Yes we scored the goals in the 2nd half but without those Reading won both halves comfortable.

If it wasn't for Trott we could have conceded 12 goals in the last two games. I'll take the 3 points but we are so open we will get battered soon

Yep Ian I agree both halfs they was way above us today and lost and there 3rd from bottom, amazing really, although we are going to come on to a proper good hiding soon playing this way as tinkerman has no plan b either when he starts the same system every game but never the same side which baffles me. One up top to start Vs a team near the very bottom and we are at home. A wins a win as they say and we are top :bluescarf:

I agree, it wasn't a good performance.

But we're top of the league after 12, can't complain with that.

Trott is some signing.

But we do need to improve as I said.

I thought Chambers played very well. Trott saved the day.

We turn it around this season because we have superior players. I don't for one minute believe we would be capable of doing it in the Championship with this current crop of players and a tinkerman at the helm.

I agree we wouldn't get away with this in the championship which is why if we go up I'm sure we will bring in a lot more quality experienced players to help the kids as we step up a level

3 points is what matters. But...

Willock doesnt suit this style. He's on half speed.

Wintle out was a good call, Tunbull looked slightly better, but Joel C alongside did not work.

Rubin is being doubled up on. Switch him with a Turnbull or Joel if so. He was marked out of the game and has been recently.

Salech is an unsung hero. Got the goal, but is in non-stop battles.

Osho off at half time was spot on. Fish was phenomenal, that clearance was important.

Leave Fish in with Lawlor... Chambers & Turnbull in CDM!! Chambers was brilliant and broke more lines forward than Wintle has done all season; from CB.

Isaak needs to start.
