Wales were pathetic, first half particularly. Defending atrocious. Bellars tactics and starting line up highly questionable e.g. why play Kieffer Moore? So immobile against sharp defenders.

How did we come out undercooked, not expecting an aggressive England? Smashed in 20 minutes - shambolic and embarrassing.

I agree. It was a pathetic performance, particularly first half.

Friendly or not, the defending was poor.

England are a good side and will probably do well in the World Cup so I expected to lose, but not like that.

Belgium are also a top side and I'm worried about Monday. The good news is they're not as good as England and I'm hopeful we will have a lot more intensity.

Worcester I'm sure Bellamy would have learned a lot from last night we need to start on the front foot on Monday and concentrate at corners Belgium will be a tough game but as you say they are not England

The simple matter is that we couldnt cope with the movement of the English players, which was terrific and would have opened up far better defences than Wales. The gulf in class was huge but we didn't help ourselves with some schoolboy defending.

Dubious tactics notwithstanding, I do think that not for the first time Wales seem to hold the English players in awe, almost like they are star-struck, something they never are against other top sides.

I expect a much improved performance against the Belgians.
