TURNBULL?

Tue Oct 07, 2025 9:52 pm

At a push he might have 1 good game in 5 he just does' nt break into a sweat Imo,
and as soon as he has the ball he gets rid of it,
it's like passing the ball to a road bollard .
Not making him an scapegoat for this Newport game tonight, but he has not really worked his socks off enough, 1 game since back from his injury, you forget he is in the team,Joe colwill runs more in 15 mins than turnbull does in 90 mins,
Role on January transfer window new recruits needed ,and turnbull can go in the same taxi as robertson

Turnbull and Wintle doesn't work anyone can see that that pairing should never be used again I'd rather Robertson play in there if Joel gets injured or suspended

He's been very poor. Doesn't really have a strength where at least Wintle can dictate.

Both if them doesnt work, and I can only assume that we saw them last night as BBM wanted to see something; which he did not.

Turnbull and Wintle cannot be on the pitch together. We have demonstrated evidence.

I’m not having a breakdown like some on here but Turnbull deserves the criticism.

Show pony that things he’s too good for us. The fact he has the magic hat song makes me cringe every time. Hope we offload him ASAP.

I agree, watched him closely last night, shocking effort.

might be time to give Robertson a go when he's back

but a few of us have been saying this last month that wintle and turnbull shouldn't play together

there's just no energy in midfield when they play together

I hope bbm sees that and tries his best to avoid pairing them again

They're not a pairing. They're not set up to play as a pair by management. That's the fundamental problem.

Usually, much better with Joel, much more energy and intensity.

Are you happy with his effort and what he actually brings to the team? Some say it as it s, Willock and Ashford have been called out and rightly so on performances.

Can't comment on the Newport game.

But he's been poor in other games recently. Joel Colwill is a much better option.

Whatever is happening with Robertson, I wish it could just be sorted out because he has to be better than Turnbull.

Joel's earned that spot. Think this post is very unfair on Turnbull, he's looked great coming off the bench in almost every game

Too be fair I agree Turnbull has done OK coming off the bench. Joel is more dynamic and a bigger goal threat.
