I think the SWP are going to be busy.
Maybe some of their nutters will be looking at this as going out of the league with a ‘bang’.
We should win easily.

Newport’s cup final, they’re bringing more than they get at home games.

I moved to Newport 4 years ago when I met my wife and they haven't shut up about this game on my estate for weeks, the train over should be interesting

The last time they came in the Premier Cup they spent most of the night scrapping with the police

Was informed at the Wigan game that all police leave was cancelled for this game, they are expecting problems from Newport.

They were stuck outside the grange end on sloper road last time if the police hadn't been there they would have probably turned on each other

I was intrigued how they’d view this and this confirms it’s being treated like a cup final . I’d expect them to have more fans than us based on caribao cup games . Assuming a general lower level of interest. If not more, it won’t be too far off. 4k gate max

I started following mid 90s so I have no experience of any rivalry although aware they hate us. I was born in the Gwent but for a few parts the place is a right shithole .

Dont underestimate the Cwnty they have knocked out better teams than us in the past . They have some tough old boys on and off the field .

I’m going and looking forward to it!

Newpot are in decline at the moment, and as I said elsewhere, their supporters should have questions, if they were to raise their game against their capital city opponents!

No love lost from the Newpot side of the fan bases, but to us their not a big pull; just a another Welsh club looking up at their capital neighbours with the same inferiority complex, green-eyed jealousy of the Jacks and the self-styled Red Dragons! :ayatollah:
