Has anyone else noticed the latest trend that's creeping into the game?
As soon as the trainer comes on to the pitch to tend to an injured player, all the outfield players from both sides head straight over to their respective benches for in-game coaching.
It then takes ages for them all to get back on the pitch and in position before the game restarts after the injury.
As someone posted in a different thread there was a ridiculous situation yesterday where we were ready to take a corner and the Orient players were just dawdling back from the halfway line and the useless referee just let them take as much time as they wanted to get back into position.
He should have let us take the corner as soon as we were ready whether they were in position or not.

The standard of officiating in League 1 is abysmal. Not much we can do about it.

Yes mate I’ve noticed too.
Must be almost always tactical.

We should just take the corner. Whats the worst that can happen

I noticed that, too! Sadly, the referee was weak, and allowed Orient to use the tools the felt would shorten the game!
Thankfully, we were a tad too good in the end, and they went home with nothing!

This was started by a Premier league team 2 seasons ago who instigated an injury at a certain time in 2nd half to facilitate a time out to get tactics to players! The latest craze is keepers going down without any injury to stop momentum of other team... authorities should be saying if this happens an outside player leaves field.
