I agree and although we will probably play some youngsters we now have an international break where Salech and Robinson are not called up, Play them and keep them sharp.

Understand i would not normally suggest in a micky mouse cup with risk of injury, but it would be good to try them especially after today even for 45 mins but understand it's a risk .

it was just a chance to play them both together as an experiment even for 45 mins,
but understand it's a risk

Most teams we have come up against defend heavily against us.
And a solo striker just can't break up their back line.
They just crowd the man up front out.
It's crying out for Salech and Robinson up front.
It will open up pockets and space for goals as we saw against Orient.
But this passing back when defending against attack needs to stop.
It got us in the poop too many times.
Kick it up pitch or into touch.
A more nonsense approach is needed.

Couldn't agree more. Ditch the Pep ball straitjacket for once and ditch the laptops.

There's a reason why teams have played 442 for an eternity - it works and that is undeniable. You don't always need pretty patterns in midfield. Get the ball quickly to the wingers, get crosses into those 2 lads and we'll score loads of goals (as we did on Saturday after switching formation).

There's no real risk, we're at the international break.

At least 45 minutes to see if they gel together in readiness for our next league game home to reading that was my thinking you could include Kellyman as well
also put the game beyond first half.

A great game to ‘trial’ certain partnerships at the back, in midfield, and up front. Have a string(ish) bench and change things should the need arise
