" That was a crazy game "

Crazy game today. But we had to win it and we did.

To be honest, at 3-2 down I wasn't convinced that we would come back. But we did, our substitutes made a huge difference.

The wind caused havoc for both teams.

Defensively we were all over the place at times. Osho's mistake for the first equaliser could have been really costly.

But there are plenty of positives too.

Great to have Robinson and Salech both scoring.

I thought Kellyman was brilliant off the bench.

Must be said that Trott made some massive saves, he had no chance with any of the goals.

A very entertaining game and thankfully it's BBM's Bluebirds who take home the three points :bluebird:

Trott, Robinson or Willock MOTM, I'll say Robinson because he got two goals.

Wind wasnt helping. Osho was dreadful at times today but he wasn't alone at times. Theres no consistency in the back line with changes every game.

Main thing is tinkerman chucked on two strikers up top for once and changed the shape and we come back to 4-3 then obviously fish come on to robbo to seal the win.

A wins a win I don't care how they come as we have played miles better and lost. :bluescarf:

Crazy game, great finishing for our goals but defensively awful. We gave the ball away cheaply and lost duels all over the place. Has Osho upset the back four? Fish or Chambers better on todays performance. Kpackio was very disappointing too. We so needed that win though. Crucial for our confidence as losing a third game at home could have really derailed our season.

I dunno what to think about that game lol I did say in pre season I think we will see a few chaotic high scoring games but even that left me shaking my head today, so so bad at the back yet at time going forward we looked brilliant

Bagan was shocking have him down for two of the goals could and should have closed the defender down quicker for the one.

Agree with all those points.

I liked the signing of Osho but he made two massive mistakes today, he was lucky to get away with the second.

Felt like Kpakio gave the ball away a lot.

Did not enjoy as the defending was dreadful . Osho and Bagan were poor. In the last 10 mins Robinson in defence kicked the ball right out to the orient half and I was delighted as this short passes in defence is over used and caused numerous times . Fish and Lawlor in defence for me. Robinson and salech up front . Kellyman to be used as much as we can.

Defensively poor but I'll always enjoy watching us win, each to their own though.

We looked at our best when moving the ball forward quickly & getting it straight into the middle or at least to a forward player. Great to see Robinson & Salech get on the score sheet & when Salech was getting pulled all over the place Robinson went up to him to make sure he kept his head up & didn't get disheartened.

The referee poll needs to start at -1 and go to -10 because he was the worse one we've seen so far. Awful.

Thanks for reminding me, I nearly forgot the referee poll.

Too many defensive errors kept Orient in the game.
Getting the ball off the opposition in our own area when under threat and putting back into play rather than kicking into touch cost us.
It happened for their goals and for their missed chances.
And please tell me BBM has realised that Salach and Robinson can play together up front and change the game.
As we are up against 5 defenders most games and need more than one striker upfront to break up their back line to create anything.

I love it when bluebirds win , especially now with a drink in my hand. But the game I never felt comfortable. It is better to criticise the team if we win if justified rather than have a go when we lose, as the players are not down and hopefully listen. As Annis said international break never good for us, if I was the manager I would focus on the players concentration and working on defence. Rubin needs a break and come back focused on his play.

No those comments are fair, was just responding to you saying you didn't enjoy it.

Thought Kpakio was poor whilst playing with Wintle who was marked out of the game by their 25 and Davies who their left back had in his back pocket. When Kellyman and Turnbull came on all of a sudden he had people to pass to and his game went up a notch.

Osho was awful. Why he started above Fish is beyond me.

Rubin was superb all game, Willock and Robinson decent.

Next few how games I think we’ll see a front three of Willock, Salech and Kellyman with Robinson, Rubin and either Turnbull or Wintle behind them.

Take nothing away from Orient, they were superb.

But the subs won it for us.

Osho almost lost it for us

In Osho’s defence, he played ok other than the big mistakes he made.

He made some crucial tackles, covered back well mostly and was ok in the air. A few sloppy passes and caught in possession but equally made as many positive contributions

I have to admit, I shit myself every time he got the ball

We were just guilty of overplaying far too much in defence, overindulgent, and too slow. Very high risk for very little return due to the position of the field and the inability of our wingers to get in behind their line when we do switch quickly.

Problem was one pass he shouldn't have had other times he was isolated as last man! Other ghan hhat he played ok as you day made timely tackles... ok blamed for a goal but in all fairness whole defense was jittery and suspect

Lucky to get away with the 3 points today against mediocre League 1 opponents.(who played very well)
Defence were all poor with the exception of Lawlor.
Osho was dreadful. I still can't get my head around how often he gave the ball away, although in all fairness, most of the team were guilty of this.
But their second goal which Osho handed to them on a plate was unforgivable.
Thank god for Trott in goal, or we could have conceded 6 or 7.
Other than the 3 points we came away with, I was happy to see Robinson and Salech on the score sheet. Also, we could have an ace up our sleeve with Kellyman. He looked class at times when he eventually entered the pitch.

Quite simply the pressure was all self generated, the defence is going to look awful if they give the ball away in their own half constantly. The football has been a breath of fresh air so far but it is not suited to gale force winds. BBM should have had a different plan for today's game

Changing the back four, for seemingly no reason is a bad move for me
Lawlor has cemented a starting place to be fair, the other CB has to be fish or even Chambers
Going forward, we did well, which makes watching city far more enjoyable then last season
Credit to Orient, they just set out to be positive and see where that took them. Nearly to a good result
No easy games in league one, as Burton proved, so today definitely felt like a huge 3 points
I was moaning big time at BBM tinkering, but his subs won us the game
