"The minute we get into talking about referees, we go away from things that we can control.
So for Yousef Salech the focus has to be on his movements which are very specific to him and exceptional.
He has to be aware of what defenders are doing to stop him. A lot of the time that's prolonged dragging and holding which is against the rules and a big thing about this season is that wouldn't happen but it is happening to him.
Our focus is for him to avoid that and get out of the space of defenders when the ball is coming to him. He did that Tuesday night and the goal was disallowed.
But we can't plan for that error from the referee. We can only work on Yousef's movement being so good, so often. And working with Chris Willock to have the right timing of the cross as it was on Tuesday night, which was perfect. And to have that with all the players so deciding when they're going to move and the timing of the pass.
My concern is if he does think he's doing something wrong and moves away from what he does best, and try and plan for something that we don't think is beneficial to him. Our focus is to have him in dangerous positions in the box where we know he's at his most capable, the same with Callum Robinson and Isaak Davies.
Then having our players find the most efficient way to serve him, that won't change over the course of the season."

All refs are same whether non league or Premier league! Slight touch they give foul if outside area but not for striker inside area do it to defender and as we saw its a foul hold shirt and got 30secs to let go before give foul latter is the excuse for not giving penalt!y but is given a foul outside area.... massive disparency in who gets foul.... but Salech needs Robinson or similar to be with him to take defenders away so stopping the holding ect at moment its 2 or 3 defenders against him easy for them to get away with holding.

Not for the first time time this season Salech had his shirt pulled virtually every time he went near the ball. Its not always easy to see by the ref but the moment he lays a hand on the defenders shirts the referee spots it.

When you only have 1 up top but 2 wide players, the opposite winger needs to come central. Ours tend to stay wide at the moment to spread the play, it 2 are in the box to receive it creates more space.
With how far forward Bagan and Ng were they kept the width anyway, we should have been doing diagonal runs in the box and cross it in more. I do think we did enough to beat Burton though, just wasn’t to be

Good Call and this is where someone like Davies would get some joy with his pace ...
