Negativity

Wed Oct 01, 2025 6:55 am

I’d like to think this isn’t just a Cardiff fan trait and more of a modern football thing.

We lose a game and everyone goes mental, this is football. You win some, you lose some. Under Riza we could have played until midnight and not created a chance let alone scored a goal. At 0-1 I still thought we had chances to win it last night.

We played some brilliant football in the corner of the Ninian and Canton at one point to create a counter attack. Guy behind me, “that would never be allowed to happen in the Championship”. f**k me.

Some of our fans would never have survived in the 90s, would have probably ended up Liverpool fans.

This forum seems to get more new posts and volume of replies when we lose. :sleepy2:

Great post.

Although some will get upset because they turn into snowflakes when they get called negative.

Some of the posts on here since last night have been mind boggling, some of them from people who funnily enough haven't posted about any of our good results.

They just feed off bad results which must be a depressing place to be.

There is not one user on here you wants us to lose except the odd Jack.

When we do lose some users will express their disappointment. It does not mean they are "feeding off it".

I didn't say that people want us to lose.

Of course they feed off it, that's blindingly obvious.

They don't comment on the wins, they just randomly appear following a bad result.

If you really don't think that's people feeding off defeats then I don't know what is. It's clearly what they're doing and anyone with any sense (who's not blinded by their hatred of Tan) can see that.

It's a sad pointer to their state of mind that they can only comment on bad results and not good ones.

That last sentence is, sadly, spot on (for some)!

Quite ridiculous.
We beat Plymouth 5-0
Swansea 3-0 under Riza.
You can’t possibly say with any certainty we wouldn’t have scored under Riza last night.

I was laughed at for benchmarking with Riza last night, and now you’re doing it.

It’s easy to laugh, but why?
Who should I compared him to?
Why was 10 games not enough was it to early to compare?
Was it unfair you think on one of them?
Are you a Riza fan still and upset because I said Murphy I belive after 20 will be miles ahead. ?
Give me something to work with something I can address.

I'm surprised at the reaction to a loss. I thought against Bradford and Burton we created loads of chances just didnt take them. As I've stated in another post it's like night and day compared with last season. This young squad is doing well imo.

Never really much substance with you, is it?

I'm on a long meeting, so I had a look. At this single page, excluding all the 'standard rotation' posts like Worcester & Annis' reports, Sven's MOTM posts and anything out of context.

After The Wigan Win (Away from home, clean sheet)

Positive Threads:

1
Annis' "A Very Good Weekend/2 Away Wins".

Negative Threads:

1
There was actually a thread on why Wigan had a red card.

After The Tuesday

Positive Threads:

2, kind of.
Both from Worcester. One being "Burton at Huddersfield" pointing out that they got a point and "Not A Time to Panic".

Negative Threads:

7
- "Probably need a chat about putting chances away"
- "Turnbull"
- "Reality" (a BBM rant)
- "Post Moved" (a BBM rant which Worcester merged as the same posted had a repeat rant with exactly the same comment, twice in minutes)
- Misfiring Strikers
- "Plan B"
- "Worked Out"
- "Negativity" (this thread)
- "TInkerman".

Then in amongst it all, are 3 threads on Wrexham.

We post more about Wrexham than positive threads after an away win for (likely) a play-off candidate.

We 100% post more negative threads after a loss.

Perhaps they have had enough of having they posts censored, or some posters thinking they opions don’t count. I have noticed a bigg slow down on this board the last few days. Is everyone on holiday?

Would you not consider you post negative?

No I don't think people are feeding off it. They are just expressimg their disappointment after a loss.

But not expressing their happiness after a win.

Of course.

I see lots of users on here expressing their joy after a win.

But not the ones who suddenly re-appeared last night. That's the point.

Again, those users who were going into meltdown on Tuesday have suddenly disappeared tonight.

Proves my point.

Perhaps they have had enough of having they posts censored, or some posters thinking they opions don’t count. I have noticed a bigg slow down on this board the last few days. Is everyone on holiday?

Would you not consider you post negative?
Trying to divide and mock people, was there any need for it?

Nobody has their posts censored.

I see you chose to avoid the question, is you post negative in any way?
