Referee rating - marks out of ten

I've forgotten to do this for some games, sorry.


But what would you mark today's referee, Darren Drysdale, out of ten?

I think he's probably the best one we've had in the league so far.

He probably should have sent off Smith for them, when he made a poor challenge on Turnbull while he was on a yellow card.

But otherwise I thought he did well and tried to let the game flow.

Didn't have much choice for the penalty and red card at the end.

I'll say 7.

I would agree with your view, certainly been the best referee so far for our league games. Couldn't decide between a 7 or an 8 but you reminded me of what should have been a red card so 7 it is.

He got a couple of minor decisions wrong but on the whole let play flow and wasn't card happy - I gave him an 8

Generally ok, but there was a period that (Early second half) I thought that every time one of our players leaned on a Wigan player he blew up. But not the other way around.
And again as has been the norm so far, a lot of pulling by the opposition, was allowed to happen. Some thing we need and are getting used to I believe. But overall one of the better ones we have had.

Thought he was poor but at least consistent. Didn’t give either team much
