FIRST-HALF:Cardiff played once again attractive and attacking football controlling the game for 40mins, but then let Wigan have a 5 min spell where they could of equalised.

Cardiff had dominated and deserved the lead in the 17min a shot by Perry NG and deflected in by a Wigan player 0-1

Cardiff were all over Wigan, then in the 38min, great save by Trott, then Mullen headed over a min later for Wigan.

Thought we were totally dominant, yes they had a few chances but your never gonna go away from home and have 0 pressure on your goal

That's 2 away performances in a week we've played the opposition off the park the Bradford game is looking like I hoped just a bad day at the office

We will have more performances like the Bradford game but I'm sure they will be few and far between and we've now shown we can bounce straight back, well done bbm and the lads onwards and upwards

Sometimes way play you think a more pressing team would make us pay with the lack of goals when in control? But there again you think that they've got a couple more gears to go through if need be..

I was there today. Very comfortable game in reality. However, the pace in which we played was soul destroying, a huge reluctance to mix it up with some directly play or the occasional pot shot. In the end the Wigan team were comfortable dealing with us but the relentless passing and particular across our back, sapped their energy. We needed more shots on goal to show for that possession.

Osho was quality at the back, Ashford had a solid first half and I personally think the Ruben over played today and had a below par performance.

I agree it was a bit of a tough watch but we got an earlyish goal and had complete control, it was on Wigan to step out and try to take the game to us. They basically sat in for the entire game, your always going to struggle to break that down... They didn't even chase the game in the last 10 minutes
