Three Plymouth Argyle fans hit with football bans after 'openly snorting cocaine' at Cardiff City match
All three 21-year-olds were arrested at Cardiff City Stadium



Three Plymouth Argyle fans have been hit with a football ban after being caught "openly snorting cocaine" at a Cardiff City match.


They were reported to the stewards by another Plymouth fan who had seen them snorting drugs amongst fans in the away end of Cardiff City Stadium, during their game against Cardiff on August 30. All three were searched by officers and then arrested with being in possession of a class A drug - cocaine.

Three 21-year-olds, Carson Gardner, Ronnie Rice, and Daniel Logan, have been handed a three-year-long ban from attending any football match in the UK as a result of their offending.


They will also be required to surrender their passports on occasions when England are playing abroad.


Carson Gardner and Ronnie Rice were also each handed a £133 fine, plus ordered to pay costs of £85. Daniel Logan was fined £253, plus ordered to pay costs of £85. Join the Cardiff City breaking news and top stories WhatsApp community.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "Two men from Plymouth and one from Ivybridge have received football banning orders which prevents them from attending any UK football match for three years.
