How many tickets did Wigan send to Cardiff.

I went down to Wigan Ticket Office this afternoon and they said that they would be selling away tickets from 1:30 on Saturday.

They will have an idea as to how many tickets will be available (i.e. returned from cardiff) on Friday afternoon.

Did they send 4000?

I would guess if they are doing sales on the day then we have the full allocation.

Wouldn't commit to sales on the day if it was only 3k, as we've already sold 2k and more expected.

The difference is that we have played Burnley many times in recent years. Bradford probably haven't played Newcastle for a while. Also a shorter journey for them.

Newcastle a much bigger club than Burnley too.

Don't think that's a stick to beat our fans with.

You're obviously a bit tetchy.

Your post said "they're taking 6,000 to Newcastle, we took 350 to Burnley".

That sounds critical of our fans. Read it back if you don't believe me. No twisting of words.

You can rightly praise their support but you decided to bring in our support which was unnecessary.

Exactly, strange for people to compare our support at Burnley to Bradford's at Newcastle.

As regards been tetchy you been on my back about robertson everytime i post something about him you try arguing,
you where wrong about bradford predicting they would not be top 6 at the end of the season the same with riza taking us to the prem .

Oh shit, has this season ended and Bradford won the league? I must have missed that.

Can't be bothered to even argue with you anymore. Just bring up ancient history and don't accept your own failings.

Not going to even look at this thread now for that reason.

Monty, Ned is not the only one that feels you are stretching things of late!

Whilst I agree that it would be great to see a larger following at home and away, there are clear factors as to ‘why?

Some teams will have a larger following at different points in their season/history! Bradford, for example, are on a relative ‘high’ at the moment, whilst for all our recent good form, we are at least a League below where we should be, and two Leagues below where we want to be; and, of course, Bradford have won nothing yet, so best keep that comment wrapped up until spring next year!

You seem to have found your voice on here lately, which is great to see, but you must realise that with ‘comment’, you will always get ‘reply’, and it won’t always be to your liking, or what you want to hear!

Just be careful your ‘toys out of the pram’ comment doesn’t come back to haunt you, as you have overreacted to a few comments of late, including pushing for ‘bigger crowds’ when on the flip side, you say Tan is driving people away!

Surely, it can’t be both?!?! :? :ayatollah:

I was replying to ned he said i was techy and you don' t think he was ?by saying he would not discuss any further ,
when i replied the the 3 things i mentioned robertson he thinks i should have an apology not had one, he admitted it was silly to predict bradford would not be in the top 6 at the end of the season 3 days after stating it ,
and the riza was the biggest howler.
As regards finding my voice is that your diplomatic way of telling me that i am on some sort of high horse as you have accused me in the past about my banner,
and going to my head but not prepared to do the groundwork on the protest and left it to others which i did explain right from the start on that topic i was prepared to help in any way i could but di not live in cardiff and not tec savy.
You were also going to keep me upto date the first game of the season when i suggested that the groundsmen should have a round of applause on the condition of the pitch and perhaps a mention on the tannoy
Which you said you would have a word in your capacity which was appriciated,
but i did not hear back from you, or anything on the tannoy first game of the season
And what i have been trying to do with attendances is trying to get as much support as possoble from fans to help the team along,
plain and simple i shall refrain from now in trying to encourage more support hope that clears a few things up.

One simple question, so please get it right…

When have I ever talked about your banner, other than in positive terms?:?

I look forward to that reply!

As for your jibe about the start of the season, I thought it was a good idea and told you so. However, it was simple, the club did not respond and it was evident when no announcement occurred during the game, as you would (or in this case wouldn’t) have seen on the day!

Im not against you. Far from it! I just ask that you please get things right! :ayatollah:

No! YOU go back and show me! That will be an interesting read because it isn’t the case; particularly as I agreed with the march and have more than once credited for your flag

I don’t need to ‘back’ Ned up, as I can see for myself that you don’t like people disagreeing with you. You’ve made a number of claims recently and I have questioned a couple of them, as is Forum life!

Rather than dragging this out, I’ll say this one more time, I have nothing against you, I just don’t have to agree or like everything you write. It’s my prerogative, as it is yours to take umbridge at people who will inevitably pick you up on (some of) your comments

As I said, it’s Forum life and it shouldn’t consume you! :ayatollah:

So, Monty! Being a bit pissed off by your false accusation, I went and looked; and guess what?!?! NOTHING!!!!

NOTHING on the march thread! NOTHING on other threads on the matter you suggested!

All I saw was a bit of support for some of your posts and actions, and a statement (from me) that I agreed with the principles behind the march, as acknowledged by Annis at the time!

I don’t want/expect an apology, but I do expect you to keep it real! :ayatollah:
