Defending Corners

Every corner today we left 2 against 1 for the short corner, and 3 against 1 with their player on the edge of the box which is how they scored the 1st goal. You could see it happening every corner.

Yes I noticed that too.

Football has become the NFL. Every player looks to the sidelines for constant guidance; it does my head in. 20 years ago, the captain would have made on-field adjustments; those days have gone.

Another thing that grinds my amateur, out-of-date park's football gears is that when we were losing 3-1 in injury time, all 11 of our players were in our box. Surely sending Davies and Robbo up top meant they would have to mark them and reduce the chaos in our box.

Willock and Ashford are not going to win a header from a cross into the box so they should be the pair out there stopping it going short, it really is basic defending.

We must be worst team for heading the ball? Rubin is star man for it as he doesn't want to mess his hair up! But with exception when Salech occasionally gets chance we cannot head ball save our lives... subsequently are set plays are rubbish the goal was thanks to ref who pulled us up when passed outside rather than putting ball in middle which was forced us to do and we scored but not a header!

Loads around me were commenting on it. I couldnt believe it. It went on all game despite them continually taking advantage of it most notably with the first goal. Bizarre
