Nat Phillips or Dylan Lawlor

Who would you prefer?

The Phillips when he played for us or Lawlor this season so far?

Purely based on what we’ve seen.

Who would you pick if they both played for us now?

Lawlor.

There's a simple reason and that's that Dylan has a passing ability that Phillips doesn't have.

With the system we now play, defenders that can pass is crucial.

I wouldn’t say Phillips is up there with the best centre half’s we’ve had and yet he played for Liverpool, is still in the top spots of the Championship and apparently was on £40k a week

If, touch wood Lawlor career progress as we hope and he stays injury free, I think he can surpass that.

Yeah, agree with all of that.

At this point, Phillips is probably better at defending than Lawlor. Phillips is a great defender.

But because of the passing ability, I would always favour Lawlor.

I think Lawlor and Osho will be our CBs for most of the season and I like that combination.
