Josh bowler

What's your take on josh bowler,you had him on loan so wandering what you made of him.He as recently returned to blackpool and in the 2 games he's played he looks like he's getting back to is best

Inconsistent would be how I'd describe him.

He's good with the ball at his feet but final product was lacking.

That said, this was in the Championship so he could do very well at this level for you.

He did have his good moments too. Think he probably needs a reset and League One is probably a good place to do that.

Didn’t rate him at all. He had one good game in every 8 games or so. Slow and predictable.

I thought he was a decent player at Championship level so may stand out in league 1.

His main strength was running at defenders. One of those players who would scare the shit out of a slow/inexperienced full back. Scored a few goals for us too.

Bad points were that he was lazy without the ball, didn't track back much and was a complete pussy in the tackle. For those reasons I wouldn't take him back.

Not as consistent as Owen Dale.

BBM would improve him like he's done with Willock, he'd be decent here.

He played in a system where he (on the right) and Karlan Grant (on the left) were they received the ball predominantly on the half way line with back to goal: usually trapped and therefore play it to the back 4.

This team was also regularly behind in posession percentages and scored few goals and created little chances.

When given the opportunity to run, with support, he was decent. However this was few and far between.

L1 is probably his level, however I assume he'd be great in an attacking formation who have alot of the ball. We'd benifit from someone like him now.

Scored a worldie match winner away at Watford. Worth a look. Tried that alot.
