BBM: Tonight was better than Saturday

Tue Sep 16, 2025 9:15 pm

Brian Barry-Murphy:

"I liked a lot of things in the performance. I thought it was a lot better than we played on Saturday to be honest.

Saturday was a difficult day for us, we didn't play how we wanted to due to a number of factors. There were large parts of that performance that we weren't pleased with.

There was a lot more of tonight's performance that looked like us and how we want to be.

Very pleased to get the opening win in these group stages. I've never seen so many away fans come to one of these games.

The home games so far have been exceptional in terms of atmosphere so I can't wait for Saturday, which is another tough game."
