BBM said he’s 4-5 weeks behind the rest of the squad fitness wise.

A bit over the top. Nothing has changed.

BBM said before Stockport that he's a few weeks behind everyone else because of his injury at Notts County.

He said he wasn't going to put pressure on him by giving a timescale and I think that's fair.

There's no need to pressure him to return team doing OK and plenty of depth in squad to cover his absence.

I have got a feeling he doesn’t want to be here. To be honest I also think he has worked with Bbm before and maybe it didn’t go that well. I have nothing to base this on and am certainly not ‘in the know’ but Bbm mentioned something about him in the first interview that didn’t sound too positive. I’ve had a feeling since pre season Robertson wanted out. Maybe I’m wrong but longer these mystery injuries go on for more I feel it.

Here is a quote I picked up on from BBM when he came here.

"I spoke to Alex multiple times when he first came here to help him. But since I engaged in talks with the club, no I haven't. There was a spell where he was sick of the sight of me, I was on his case about things he needed to do."

It shouldn't stop him playing though, but I guess he will have to reach the new required fitness standards.

The gash got infected, came down with sepsis and got really bad for a while.

Settling now though thankfully.

He will be back soon.

Well said, Ned!

It’s another ‘Brezza-like’ thread for threads sake, when it’s been spoken about by BBM on more than one occasion and reported on here

Thankfully, the squad are doing rather well without him, so taking their time rather than rushing him back is the right course of action! :ayatollah:

My thread was not put out for "fun" it was because of conflicting statements and as you say weekly updates so many weeks etc ,
my question was did he break his leg pre season ?
Since i have been enlightened that he had sepsis by the doctor on this thread which would account for his long delay which i did not know.

No sepsis but - Separately, he has had a hamstring problem (“tweaked” hamstring) more recently.
He has been managed carefully, training alone when needed, because the issue is still bothering him to a degree.

Monty!

Drum roll..........

Robertson is back! (At the time of writing, according to BBM).

Odd that he'll be out injured tomorrow? :whip:

The antibiotics worked a treat.

Bit worried as the Docs had to use a strong antibiotic which can result in drugs test issues but I think they are clear because of the sepsis.

What I said was he was a few weeks behind the rest of the squad, which is true.

Not 50/50. BBM said he's trained fully and is in contention to play against Bradford.

Why is it such a big deal? As far as I can see we're doing okay without him so far.

Re: ROBERTSON WHAT IS GOING ON?

Wouldn't drop anybody for him at the moment.

Needs some time on the bench with a few minutes here and there and then start him in the Burnley game and the Ee-Aww Cup or whatever it's called.

Was i accusing you of saying he was 50/50 ? I was saying people in the know said weeks behind but now murphy says he' s 50 /50
