League One Officials

The ref for the game today is completely clueless. This is a common theme in this division. Absolutely terrible

They were shit in the Championship so not going to be any better in League 1. He has give everything to Stockport so far though.

He’s given us two decisions in a row now. Maybe he’s already won his bet.

We have had the rub of the green from the Refs thus far this season.

You have to play the refs though. Surely we knew he let the physical stuff go. We have been quite naive at times. Need to man up and take this as a parks game

Where? The goal disallowed for offside? He was offside close but offside 2 dubious penalties against us.... far more crap decisions against us than for us.... typical today Norwood takes lwgas away from behind when we're attacking yellow card all day long was one given? No chance  officials are really poor generally not just against city though

Every time a Stockport player comes close to a Cardiff player they are holding our shirts.

This referee is by far the worse. Disgraceful at times.

But in any league, they pull shirts; our issue was a few of our youngsters haven't had forearms of a blacksmith doing it before.

This ref seemed to give the doubt to the team on top today, he changed in the last 10 mins.

Officiating in this league is horrid the Stockport center half's pulled and dragged Salech everywhere today and he gave us nothing yet there players only had to go to ground and he gave them a free kick it was the worse ref I've seen this seasob

Worst one of the season so far i'd say, awful.

Red cards, penalties not given, that offside that wasn’t v Port Vale.

We have had the luck this season with refs.

Terrible.

Clear foul on Chambers in the lead up to the penalty.

Salech has people dragging him to the ground and nothing given but if he breathed on one of the their players then it was a foul.

Only adding one minute at the end of the first half when Chambers was down injured for at least two and there were other stoppages.

I hate to generalise, but we’ve had a poor start to what is so far a very good season, from the officials; and today’s batch were as poor as we’ve had!

Penalties given the offside wasn't offside who was right lino standing in line or camera several feet out of line?.... yes of course had some decisions in our favour but did they win us game? but 2 that didn't the penalties cost us points as we drew both games 1-1 but anyway doesn't alter fact officials are behond poor. :old:

It’s not so much the poor decisions that matter, and I think all of us would agree, it’s consistency. If he doesn’t give for a shirt pull, even a blatant one all game, then fair enough. But to then award ones for soft shirt pulls takes the piss.

That’s always been the case in all divisions, even with VAR, if the decisions were consistent then there would be no arguments, but unfortunately they’re not.

The lower you go in the leagues, the worse the officials will become:

Birmingham City, Plymouth , Luton etc have all been their under them before and got through it.

There should be one golden rule when it comes to penalties? If its a foul outside area its a foul inside!
So many times you see no foul outside but a foul inside or visa versa.... this its OK to hold as long as its only for short period and not a pen is ridiculous its immediate foul anywhere else on pitch and yellow card normally.... get this right and what official do rest pitch is not so damaging... this situation is throughout all the leagues
