A bit of Trivia: River Mersey

The River Mersey has long been regarded as a prominent part of Merseyside but, until the Hill Dickinson Stadium was built for Everton, the closest football ground to the Mersey was actually in Manchester - just 924 metres from Stockport Edgerly Park ground.
