Chambers at the back slightly worries me.

Kellyman obviously not ready yet.

Glad that Rubin is alright to start and it's a strong bench.

Chambers back in at CB! Please BBM don’t be stubborn and see what everyone else can see! He’s a liability at CB!

Chambers at CB again, not a fan he’s always got a mistake in him. Hopefully osho will come on for him

Why is Lawlor on the bench? The Kazakhstan game was 9 days ago and he didn't play against Canada. That's a longer rest than our league schedule.

I can understand NG coming in at right back. Kpakio needs to be rested and protected after struggling for Wales.

Today is going to be an intense, physical battle. With the manager of the month curse and Dave Challinor having the international break to really work on things, I'm fearing today will be our first defeat.

We really need Chambers to step up today, as he's been awful so far this season and he shouldn't be in the team ahead of Lawlor.

Lawlor apparently had a sickness bug which might explain why he was sat alone away from the rest of the Wales squad on Tuesday, so possibly just a precaution to not start him today

He dropped him so he’s hardly “carrying on”‘with anything. Lawlor slight illness and Osho just joined so obviously not ready.

Thats one thing that worries BBM not realising Chambers is suspect in center defence

Judgy people already.

We don’t know if Osho is up to speed yet in terms of training or understanding what we do tactically.

Maybe some knocks or illness for others.

Chambers may be the only fit option…

That might have something to do with it. Even after you've recovered from a sickness bug, you could still be feeling a bit weak. I'm surprised Osho isn't starting in his place, but BBM obviously has his reasons.

I wouldn’t have started Chambers personally but BBM knows better than me.He may have an error in him but he also has a goal in him too.
Lets wait and see

Strange decision to bring chambers in as centre back when Osho is available?

Chambers better as defensive midfield

Two centre backs on bench..if they are not fit they wouldn't both be on bench.

It's not judging it's just speaking the plainly obvious. If it doesn't work out and we lose then BBM will be asked questions

Play on the front foot and we dont have to worry about our defence. Stockport have got 5 centre backs in their 11 so they are obviously concerned about us as an attacking force.

The obvious changes are that Perry Ng and Calum Chambers both start in defence. Ronan Kpakio and Dylan Lawlor drop to the bench. Big changes for a back line that hasn't conceded from open play all season - but these are seasoned pros coming into the team here.

Gabriel Osho is named on the Bluebirds bench for the first time, but notably there is no Omari Kellyman. Brian Barry-Murphy had urged pateience over his return to fitness, so he's clearly not ready just yet.

David Turnbull returns to the matchday squad, he takes his place on the bench.

Is Mad Mick McCarthy in charge of Stockport?
