BBM:

“ RUBIN COLWILL “

Rubin Colwill had to waive his international recall this month, thus prompting his brother Joel to get the call-up and receive his first cap in the 1-0 friendly defeat by Canada. Sign up to our daily Cardiff City newsletter here.

And while Barry-Murphy described Colwill as a "doubt" for the Stockport clash, it appears likely he will be involved.

"Rubin had an issue with his knee. He was in a pretty heavy challenge in the lead-up to the first goal from Ryan Wintle in the box and his knee was pretty sore," the head coach said of Colwill's injury.

"It will be his first day training today, actually. He did some parts on Tuesday, but we are hopeful if he trains today and tomorrow he will be available Saturday.

"He is a doubt because he essentially hasn't trained until today."

Hope he gets through training today and tomorrow so he can play on Saturday, or we'd miss him.

Even if he can only play 60 minutes and then maybe replace him with Kellyman.

I think Robertson could also step in to the 10 role if rubin doesn't make it

If Robertson can turn in performances like he did at Coventry away last season playing as the 10 then I think he's a perfect stand in for rubin

Robertson not quite ready yet.

Turnbull back though so he could fill that position or even Robinson.

Ah that's a shame about Robertson I really feel he could play a huge part for us this season he's technically way better than league 1 level

kellyman might start Saturday then if rubin is out
I don't see who else can play that role maybe turnball and put wintle and Joel in midfield

Robinson would more likely be there than kellyman I would say due to lack of mins and football over last season. With maybe kellyman coming on and getting bedded in maybe

Rubin will start and be subbed i would guess, its just keeping bellamy on side and throwing stockport into a tizz thinking he was'nt playing then he's in.

More likely he'll come on for Kellyman... judging by what bbm is saying its just a knock resulting in sore knee rather than any sort of damage ...

Interestingly, Rubin seems fine in the clips from training.

Robertson and Kellyman also involved.

He's said a bit early for Kellyman and Robertson. We have plenty of players desperate to come in, but Rubin is pretty tough. I think he'll be in and fine.

He said Robertson won't be in the squad but Kellyman will.

But for Kellyman it will probably be from the bench.
