Didn't have the balls to stand up to Ferguson or just couldn't be arsed turning up for Wales friendly games.
Odious individual.

I'm sure he never played a friendly for Wales, at one stage when fergie didn't want him to play for Wales giggs was ranked no 1 player in the world, so what would fergie had done if giggs ignored him??? I don't think giggs wanted to turn up.

We know Giggs is a terrible person.
But if Giggs ignored him then Sir Alex would have got him out of Man Utd. Just like he did with Beckham, Keane, Stam etc.
When you see those ex-Man Utd players come across Sir Alex even now, they're all still terrified of him.

Full-time, part-time, no-time Giggs!![]()
They say ‘Fergie’ stopped him turning out for Wales non-competitive games, but he didn’t seem to take the same approach with others?
Either way, congratulations to Harry Wilson, who will soon overtake Giggs’ cap count after already beating him (Giggs) in major tournament appearances!![]()

Beckham, the Nevilles etc always used to play for England in friendlies whereas Giggs never turned up for Wales.
Either Ferguson told Giggs not to turn up and he was happy to comply despite his English team mates playing in friendlies or Ferguson was happy for Giggs to turn up but he couldn't be arsed.

However I have to point out the obvious about Ryan Giggs.
He did choose Wales over England and we should celebrate a Welshman winning 13 Premier league titles along with a number of domestic cups and the European and world club trophies.
Instead, it's my guess a few old anti-Man Utd reactions have been made here !
