Is being in L1 made the club more profitable?

Wages must be around the 9m/10m mark , attendance figures are almost the same as previous seasons in the Championship , Yes TV money is down by 10m but this is offset with a huge reduction in wages and cutbacks which were not necessary.
Thoughts ?

Well could be but got to factor in 10m loss of efl revenue plus any loss in commercial income...is wages cut enough to offset this

Our salary is definitely lower and the value of our players has certainly increased.

Dalman will still tell us the old "Vincent is still putting in 1m a month to keep us afloat" when he comes out from the dry rot woodwork on very rare occasions. The paid liar has been spinning that one for years on end while his pockets get lined.

Not really, but if we go up then the value of the club will increase and if these lunatics are still running the club then just watch them cash in on the young players, that's the worry.

No, but it has afforded the possibility of bringing youngsters through, who may well be profitable in the future

I'm not too worried about him cashing in on young players. I believe at this point his goal must be to sell us. Lawlor, Ashford, the Colwills etc are the value of the club our squad value has gone up an incredible amount in the last two months. If he wants a sale it wouldn't be very sharp to push our value down. Having said that.........
