When he eventually gets sold?
Thu Sep 04, 2025 9:09 pm
Pointless question because we're not selling him yet.

He was shaky against Peterborough but has been faultless in every other game. If we go up, £10m plus, if we don't, it will be around £2m to £3m. He's a talent.

Those are ‘
made up’ figures (at best) and the truth is no one really knows until he (a) develops further, and (b) someone comes in with an ‘
acceptable’ offer, at which point (and at current rate of progression) I would be massively disappointed if he is not the highest valued ‘
home’ player ever to leave this club!

35 million.
Same as Guehi.

Isn't that the concept of a hypothetical question, they are asking "me" what "I" think? So, yes they are made up from "my" opinion.

We will never let him go for 2-3 million.
If he keeps progressing as he is, he will easily be our biggest ever sale.
You have to remember he's only 19 and already started at CB for Wales, that doesn't often happen at that age.
Hopefully he's with us for a good few years.

He will get sold eventually, any good players always will.
Let's hope we can get him playing at as high a standard as possible before he goes to get his value up.
If Mcguinness went for £10m twice (although I doubt that was the actual figure) we need to get a lot more than that for him
Fri Sep 05, 2025 9:20 am
What I am seeing and hearing about him, he’s already worth Over £10mill.
100% must not be sold.

The cynic in me says he will be sold if we go up.

Will have alerted the big boys who may want to get in early so wouldn't be surprised if he was sold in the next window with condition he comes back immediately to us on loan to the end of the season.

The key to any successful transfer would be for the club to install a hefty sell on clause

Used to the the case that teams paid for potential. Now with PSR they can’t really spunk big money on potential.
No premier league club is going to pay 8 figures for a league one player who has played 6 games.
A consistent season and doing the same at championship level get him to and above that level quite quickly.

At least 25% but do what man u and Real did a 50% clause because if goes for 15m now he'll be worth 50m couple of years time easily. But could be cute and put sell on clause for every move? Crewe did that years ago... it will show clubs we mean buisness and won't be taken for a ride.

He’s played a couple of cup games and five league games (one of which he looked awful) and we are talking about 50 million.
Crikey.
We don’t half go to extremes.
Please let him develop without all this pressure.

I said after hes sold in first place in other words after hes played at higher level for couple years! Musnt forget players are going for much higher prices than last season because of new TV deal ? But all speculation off cause.
Fri Sep 05, 2025 6:35 pm
Hes 100% worth more than mcguiness, people say we must not sell him but if a big club comes in and turns his head it will not be the clubs decision will be down to the player .
Fri Sep 05, 2025 8:28 pm
Now hes an international player minimum fee of £25m plus 50% sell on fee.
That will put clubs off him for now.
Hopefully he stays here long enough to be captain in the Premier League.

Harris a Welsh international
Sheehan is a Welsh international
We are defo going a bit OTT about this lad.
If we got offered 5 million we would take it and we would be mad not to. 6 games ago he wasn’t in our team.
Fri Sep 05, 2025 9:25 pm
Depends on so many things:
- How he does this season
- Whether he continues to play for Wales and do well
- Any injuries he picks up
- Whether we get promoted or not
My view is there are a lot of unknowns and therefore any future fee is unknown.
Nothing wrong with people speculating about it but he'd be sold next summer at the earliest and we'll know a lot more by then.
There's also things scouts will spot which we don't and they've been watching him long before he got into our first team.
He's doing well at the moment and long may it continue. Like with the rest of the team, when he makes a big mistake or when we lose a game (which will obviously happen) it'll be interesting to see how he reacts to that.
Sun Sep 07, 2025 8:13 am
He will be sold at sometime and if he continues like has been I do not know how much he will go for but i would be suprised if it will not break our highest transfer fee received.
Sun Sep 07, 2025 10:57 am
He'll eventually go for £20Milliom plus to a big club.
Brentford and Brighton will probably be sniffing now with £10Million offers by the end of the season.
