A forum for all things Cardiff City

This was said by someone who does some work for the NTT20 website, Craig Bradley, on their Deadline Day live feed. He knows a lot about a lot of players.
He's also a Villa fan and saw Kellyman for their academy and does some scouting work for Derby.
Talking about Omari Kellyman:
A premium loan as far as League One goes.
It was an inflated fee but Chelsea paid £19m for him. Chelsea never seem to make a loss on those type of signings either. Before that Villa paid a high fee in terms of compensation when he was even younger.
I think he's going to tear League One apart.
He's a number ten but with Rubin Colwill there, he's equally capable playing on the right too and that's where I think he'll play for Cardiff.
He's 6ft4 as a teenager. His injuries last season seemed to be him growing into his body over those months, could have been a case of him being too big when he was too young.
But this feels like the perfect environment for his first loan with a settled squad and a manager like Brian Barry-Murphy.
This is a mega player dropping into League One.
Seems like the connection between Brian Barry-Murphy and Enzo Maresca (Chelsea's manager) was a big reason for the move.

Similar problems to Rubin with growing quickly and struggling with injuries because of it

Let's hope the lad stays fit and can play a part when called on .

Do think we need cool heads and expectations to ensure for this to knit together and work, lots of old heads in Div 1 who can effect games that leave a mark on these lads, the officials are not the best either.
