Another Left Back Question Thread?

Anybody think that we need a left back in urgently ?

We're trying to get one but it'll only happen if they're the right quality.

Ng played there once last season. He was awful. I know he was off form last year generally, but he seemed completely at a loss on that side.

True but that's against much better opposition and a lot of players have improved under this manager - Willock for example.

Like I said, we know the club are trying for a LB but no point signing someone for the sake of it if they're not of the right quality.

I expect Giles will stay if we don't sign a LB. He'll go on loan otherwise.

Bagan is first choice on merit but if he is injured we are very light..NG us poor as a left back and so Giles is back up

Could kpakio cover there with NG right back

I don't think its too much of a problem, apparently Osho can play left back.

TBH I'm more concerned at losing Salech to injury. He is such an important part of our current success - keeping C defenders occupied, allowing our other attackers space. I really think a 'back up' C Forward is needed.
