I'VE ALREADY SEEN ENOUGH

Sun Aug 31, 2025 10:20 am

Like most on here i usually wait for 10 -12 games before i make my opinions on the coming season, managers input/influence, players attitude and style of play. But 6 games in where we've already played and beaten the two teams that came down with us, along with the syle of play from this team it's very, very encouraging. After the sh*t we had to put up with last season it's great for City fans to see a team busting a gut and playing for the shirt along with some great football. Early days yet but well done BBM / players, couple more players in please and keep it going. :bluebird:

I agree. My 10-game requirements have been smashed. BBM is the real deal. He wasnt my first choice, I'd never heard of him a day before he was rumoured; but what a start.

Totally agree , I’ve made my mind up already , I’m still pinching myself , still in shock of how well he has this team playing , very very exciting times ahead :bluebird:

It hit me yesterday, BBM has humbled me !!!!

After schools, parks, then 6-side football and supporting the city since 82, i know absolutely nothing about modern football.

Wingers hold onto the ball for an eternity and inevitably cut inside and pass back, fullbacks rarely overlap, the striker doesn't make near post runs, nobody plays off the big man, Center-half lets the ball bounce, you pass back to the keeper between the sticks, not outside, CMs never run beyond the striker.

I have seen managers imitate the modern game, but I never had the privilege to watch it with a vested interest.

I am not joking, i haven't got a clue, but this is even better than DJ :ayatollah:

It's class and we have Kellyman, Osho, Robertson, Turnball, and Tanner to integrate back in.
