Salech.

Hope he’s okay. Last 2 matches I haven’t seen him smile once - even when we score. Not smiling in the dressing room picture either. To be fair he does get battered a lot leading the line but we don’t get any crosses into him and he must be cheesed off waiting for the ball as we play it around outside the box. There are times when we should defo get a good cross in. I hope he doesn’t get to fed up. He’s a real quality striker and a real team player.
Great win today Bluebirds. What a shame next weeks game is called off whilst we have momentum

He'll be fine.

Just needs a couple of goals to get himself going.

He's frustrated with referee decisions but he'll be alright as the season goes on.

Good thing is that we're winning before he starts scoring regularly, which he will.

He was good in the build up today.

Its a thankless task in this system. He can smile and look at the striker in BBM's stolen blueprint, Erling Haaland, he barely touches the ball.

We look a lot worse when he is subbed, that tells me everything.

Things may change as our style develops, but it feels like our 9s are being asked to do a pretty thankless job in this system. Salech best game is early crosses and him attacking the ball.

We’re not really a “beat the full-back and whip in a cross” kind of team. Instead, we look to keep possession and turn the 18-yard box into almost a 7-a-side game, where goals can come from a variety of different movements.

Tanner was the one winger who would consistently look to put in early crosses. The rest of our wide players are modern forwards—ID, CW, and CA are all essentially forwards playing out wide. Their first instinct is to score themselves, not to create chances for the 9. Strikers love to score and if you're not getting the chances and seeing everyone else score around you is probably where the frustration is coming from. CR looks exactly the same and is snatching at the rare chances that are coming his way.

Think this is spot on.

He played well today, was caught on his heels when Bagan put the ball across the 6 yard box though, would've been a simple tap in.

He was constantly pressing, his hold up play was great. He doesn't seem to get many decisions from referees though.

Not sure why a free kick was given against him early in the game although the keeper made a good save

2 things caught my eye
I didn’t see him do a lap of honour at the end and he usually does
When he went off BBM had to guide him to CR to shake hands when he came on as sub
Hope he’s ok

Good summary fair play. Salech and Robinson made some good runs today and the player with the ball was either greedy or played the wrong ball. They both looked frustrated. I think they will both start scoring soon.

He did smile in the pic too. Was more of a confident grin.
There was a few players similar.

Only one who looked like he didn't want to be there was Alnwick

When Willock scored,, they all huddled by Ninian stand and
Salech was chanting ‘Bluebirds, Bluebirds’ with us, arm out and all

I've been watching Salech closely the last few games and he is doing on of those unappreciated jobs.

Our opponents are trying to mark him out of the game with their biggest lad and most times this lad is having to bring him down. When Salech manages to find space he is setting up others to take the glory. Of course the goals seem to have dried up for him but not the team. I can see him stepping up when the team starts to dry up with the goals.
