About Plymouth Argyle

Plymouth came down from the Championship with us and Luton last season.

They have had a tricky start to the season but got their first league win last weekend.

They have had a high turnover of players this summer.

Club Connections

Several players have played for both clubs.

One of these is Tony Capaldi.

He made over 140 appearances for Argyle before moving to City.

The Opposition's Manager

Tom Cleverley was appointed Plymouth manager in the summer.

He previously had a spell in charge of Watford.

He was best known as a player for his time at Watford and Manchester United.

Opposition Dangerous Players

Lorent Tolaj caused us a lot of issues in our game at Port Vale, he is a new signing for Plymouth.

Bali Mumba will also be a threat.

Referee

Match referee should be confirmed shortly, will provide details then.

Head To Head - last five meetings

We have won two of our last five against Plymouth, with two draws in that time.

Last season, we won at home and drew away.

Last Game

We won 1-0 in our last league game at Luton on Saturday. In the cup on Tuesday, we beat Cheltenham at home.

I just read trott could possibly be a doubt for Saturday due to a tight hamstring

Would be dissapointing but I feel Turner is an adequate replacement

Actually nice to have 2 decent keepers in the books

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I fancy Plymouth could pull off a shock here.
They appear to be improving after a nightmare start and it won't go our way every match.
I'll go for a draw, but I fear worse.

I do think it’s odd Robertson still not available, now with a hamstring issue.

Hope it’s just bad luck and not him shopping around for a move before the transfer window closes.
