MY VIEW " CARDIFF CITY SAFELY INTO ROUND THREE "

Tue Aug 26, 2025 8:40 pm

BBM made eight changes but it was still a strong team.

And there was only ever one team who was going to win.

A comfortable evening at CCS and the Bluebirds are safely into Round Three with a 3-0 win against a poor Cheltenham defence.

Isaak Davies, Calum Chambers and Joel Colwill with the City goals.

Cheltenham had a penalty saved by Turner at 2-0.

Great to keep the winning going and to be in the next round.

Joel Colwill my MOTM. But would also say that Mafico was very good.

Onto a big game against Plymouth on Saturday :bluebird:

Turner played well and great penalty save, but you could see the difference when Trott is not playing, we were not as comfortable playing the ball out.

He'll get there, though it takes a while to develop that side of the game for a keeper.

Seems like Turner will play on Saturday as Trott has tight hamstring

I think a lot of our play from the back was down to chambers been there not trotts absence .
