Horvath back next season?

I was wondering why Horvath has been sent to Wednesday on loan instead of getting rid altogether (clubs would have to want to buy him though, I know this)

He clearly isnt in BBM's plans and/or is on a big wage and the club wants to scale down wages

With Tan not wanting to spend any money this window (it seems at the moment) is this transfer a case of getting rid of Horvaths wages, paying minimum wages for Trott for a season and then getting Horvath back next season if we go up? It certainly is a money saving tactic

Personally I'd love to keep Trott and hope the club use the option to buy, but if we arent buying any players (like I said, at the moment) then why would Trott be the only exception?

Sheffield Wednesday were desperate for a keeper due to their main one being injured and could only loan due to the restrictions put on them, so he's on loan there until January 2nd.

Horvath wanted to play because he wants to be in the USA World Cup squad so it was just in everyone's interest to let him go there.

Highly doubt we'll see him play for us again.

On the rest of what you say, there is talk of a player coming in permanently tomorrow.

It seems like I have been reading too much into things but I guess as a City fan we have become skeptical

Good news about the potential incoming tomorow - the end of the window will be interesting!

If we don't get promoted this season Trott will not be here next season.

Tan won't pay the transfer fee if we're still in League 1 and if he keeps up his fine form to date Trott will have many admirers in the Championship or maybe even above that.

Agreed, Trott was probably happy enough to have this season in this league but not any longer than that.

I'm pretty sure it was said anyway that the option to buy can only be triggered if we get promoted.

We are leaving it late - But I hope the reports are correct and new faces will be in by Monday next week .
