We will never know, BUT,what if we had appointed BBM. rather than Riza as our manager last year. Would we still have finished bottom of the table? Would we have been relegated?
Seeing the way he has got us pressing using the same players and added youth with fresh way of playing. I don’t so. I think we would be plying our trade in the Championship. Last year I did a thread saying battler not bottlers. We will have hiccups along the way, but we are playing with some style and, most importantly working / battling).
(I missed todays game but was impressed at the outcome particularly with CR in the starting 11! Did he work harder/ battle today?).

No, this team needed the off-season with BBM and to lose the old slow coaches. There is a massive drop-off between the leagues so this may be a blessing. 30-odd first-team games will be great for most of them.
CR47 is on a rapid downgrade; the injuries have caught up, so we are keeping him.

Because of the style, I think BBM is a manager that is best as a summer appointment.
He's had pre-season to make it clear to the players how he wants his team to play.
Very difficult to do that as a mid-season appointment because it takes a lot of training to do that. With games coming thick and fast, it's a big challenge to do that.
