Jack Sykes has only just come back from injury. There were reports that Rangers were interested in signing him, but City have made it clear he’s going nowhere. Not sure it's fair to criticise us not picking academy players in the team when the first team has been full of academy players so far this season.

Fair point actually, sorry I obviously misunderstood your post.

The thing is if the loan players we're bringing in are better than what we have, which I'm sure they will be - assuming they do eventually come in.
