“ I’M ECSTATIC SAYS “

BBM:

"I’m ecstatic." Brian began. "It was an end-to-end game where both teams went for it. There were slightly different styles in terms of how we played the game, but equally as effective – so for us to come out on the right side of the scoreline is really beneficial for us. It was very enjoyable.”

"It’s the best win because it’s the latest one! I never look too far ahead or too far back. We were conscious of the fact that we’d been to Wimbledon, so it was a long journey for us to go back to Cardiff and the come back again. I was conscious of how big a test it was for us, so to play the game, right from the first whistle, in the manner that we did, made us very proud."

BBM:

"We look to attack at every opportunity. I think against a team of that calibre, there’s always the element of jeopardy if you give the ball away – they can get on goal in a matter of seconds, and all of your hard work can be undone in an instant.

"So for our young players to feel that pressure, in terms of how much risk we had to take, was good for them. There were key elements of the second half that I liked, where we came under pressure and we put our bodies on the line, but still managed to play the way that we wanted to play at all times.

"Nathan [Trott] made some really good saves for us at key times, but I think all the lads deserved that. We put our bodies on the line, and to see them do that is very good for us."

All good but please get some reinforcements in sharpish Bri as we're another injury away from real stress on that small squad. God forbid RC getting crocked.

Can't get carried away but as a fan what a joy it is to watch this team. We've been used to hanging on in the first 30mins as an away team. They were strong opponents today and for the first 30mins we totally dominated. You could hear it in their crowed they were shocked at how well we were playing.

Luton grew into the game but let's not forget we're still at the start of BBM ball. This is a very young squad that is only going to get stronger. :occasion5:

I do feel that we are at the start of a journey that could continue or be abruptly halted. The way in which we deal with defeat will be telling in terms of assessing our progress. I am loving the football we are attempting to play - with much success - imhv.

It's amazing Annis, three straight wins in eight days, three clean sheets on the TROTT, two long-distance tiring away games, the last against the bookies' favourites. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Well done BBM and the team :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:
