I don’t agree about the first part, being on Sky should not harm us I’d your a True City fan as at the moment we are absolutely riding high .
As you say we’ve waited for years for this and so the fans should turn up.
If Plymouth fans can so can WE

those of us that go week in week out won't be bothered by sky early kick offs etcworcester_ccfc wrote:Has to be a big crowd, it's what our team and manager deserve after this start.
Can't use the kick off time or it being on Sky as an excuse. Isn't stopping Plymouth bringing a lot and didn't stop Peterborough bringing decent numbers.
Also didn't stop our fans travelling well today or at Vale.

But sadly we do have a lot of floating fans who find any excuse not to turn up unless it's the Jack's or Premier league football

Depends how old you are! I remember us beating them in about 1967- for some reason New Years day is in my mind. I was a young boy then and have no idea who scored or played but if it was that game I will go for a team of
Bob Wilson, Graham Coldrick, Bobby Ferguson, Gareth Williams, Don Murray, Brian Harris, Peter King, Bobby Brown, John Toshack, Ronnie Bird, Barrie Jones. (though he may even be in opposition that day). Plymouth might have played in white with a green and black hoop
We also had a very young keeper around that time called Lyn Davies and he may have been in goal. And Dave Carver might have been in instead of Coldrick. Other candidates would be George Andrews, Norman Dean![]()

To be fair to Swansea they don’t get bad crowds , and as a city as large as Cardiff (425,000 with another 500,000 within 25 miles ) we should attract 20,000 minimum per home game if successful in L1. Cardiff City crowds are moderate.

They simply don't have the pulling power of us? Home crowd of 14k yesterday in championship is not great regardless of of the size of Swansea and surrounding areas....
Theres more than enough urban conurbation to support a football club like Theres.
