I don't know what others think of this but, whilst Tanner is out, and we await the signing of a winger - could we play Ng in Tanners right wing role?
I don't think it would be right to drop Kpakio and perhaps it would also add some experience to the side
Thoughts?

Is this a wind up?

One of the many things that make me tear what's left of my hair out nowadays

is picking players out of position.
Has it ever worked? Pilkington as a number 9 instead of as a winger perhaps?
As far as I'm aware. Perry NG has never played a game as a winger and probably never should.
Mafico probably shouldn't have started at full back because that's not where his strengths are.
Not for me sorry - I'm not even happy about him as as cover at CB to be honest.
Full back (or emergency goalie!

) only for me.

If Tanner was a square peg, we don't try to fit a round peg in, that's Riza-esque.
We need a solid rapid left winger.

I seen somebody say we need 4 or 5 new players as injury's will come the other day and one poster replied "your negative" it's pure comedy how the teapot on a Tuesday and don't now if there male or female on a Wednesday think but it makes me laugh I guess

No definitely not a wind up. I'm someone on here that posts reasonable and interesting stuff and I hope my reputation on here reflects that.
Firstly the idea is only temporary. Temporary until we do get a decent recognised winger - so a few weeks max.
The thought was NG often played an advanced role last season and often found himself in positions near the opponents penalty area and also had powerful shot. It is essentially the same role without the defending.
Like I said just a temporary role for a few weeks - certainly not full time

Played well at centre half in the past… but his problem is he is one paced… not fast enough.

Why would we do this when we have Ashford, Willock, Davies and Nyakuhwa??
Also not sure if anyone noticed but Bagan got brought off after feeling his hamstring on Tuesday so NG will likely play left back if he is fit.

Tanner under murphy has been playing on the his natural left wing Ashford on the right,
its the left wing where we are short along with left back we need a new winger preferably a left footer

Tanner been playing left wing.

If anything, I'd put Kpakio further forward and NG at RB with Ashford on the left wing.
Or ideally, just recruit a new winger and have RB cover/strong competition for places.

I normally enjoy your posts Paul and agree with a lot of what you say.
But I can't agree with this. I just don't see it working.
Reading between the lines of the press conference, it sounds like BBM will be signing a winger anyway and it'll probably be someone who can play on both sides.

Sorry mate no ill will but it's an insane idea. It's akin to saying we should play Lawlor there since he's good with the ball at his feet. Or why not Trott since he can kick the ball really far he'll be great for crossing!
NG can barely play wing back in a back 5 nevermind pushing him further up the pitch.
